Services Tuesday For Tom Burger

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 31, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church here for Thomas J. Burger, 36. Burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery, Monona. He died at the home of his parents here Saturday, March 28.

Thomas John Burger was born June 10, 1944 at Dubuque, the son of George and Virginia (Kirsch) Burger. He attended St. Peter school in Clermont and graduated from Ossian DeSales high school. He earned a B. S. degree from Loras College and a masters from Iowa State and had attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he was working on his Ph. D. He had been employed by 3M Co., St. Paul, Minn.

Survivors include his parents and 4 brothers, Gary of Dixon, Ill., James of Monona and Keith and Ronald both of Postville.
