Mrs. Schroeder Rites Are Held
Mrs. Lyle Schroeder, 22, died at a Redding California hospital last week of heart complications following the birth of a daughter. She had moved to Redding about two months ago with her husband, Lyle Schroeder, who is a music teacher at Sequoia school.
A graduate of St. Cloud Teachers college, St. Cloud, Minnesota, she taught a year at Hopkins, Minnesota before her marriage. She was united in marriage in Fergus Falls, Minnesota on August 17, 1952 to Lyle Schroeder of Postville.
Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder both taught a year at Sterling, Colorado before moving to Redding, California this fall.
She leaves, besides her husband, a daughter, Susan Melanie, both of Redding; her parents, Ernest and Agnes Lawrenson, and two sisters, Barbara Ann and Idell LaRue Lawrenson, all of Fergus Falls.
Funeral services were held at Fergus Falls on Monday. Mrs. Jessye Schroeder, Chaplain Duane Schroeder of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schroeder of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Schroeder attended the services.
