Lansing, Ia. - Funeral services for Frank Clark, 27, were held at Immaculate Conception church Monday morning with the Rev. G.L. Haxmeier officating, after which the body was taken to Retreat, Wis., for burial. Mr. Clark died in a La Crosse hospital Saturday as a result of an automobile accident the day previous. He suffered scalp wounds and skull fracture with the result that a blood clot formed, and in spite of surgery, he died.

He was born near De Soto, Wis., 27 years ago. His education included two years of journalism at the University of Minnesota. He had traveled extensively in the United States working at his profession at several places. For the past three and a half years he has been employed at the Allamakee Journal office, to which paper he contributed a column copyrighted as "Frank-ly Speaking." He is survived by his parents and several brothers.
