Funeral services were held Friday Aug. 15 at 1:30 p.m. from St Paul's United Methodist Church in Waukon for Mrs. Minnie L. Gilson, 82 The Rev. Paul Clements of Monona officiated and burial in Oakland cemetery, Waukon.

Mrs. Gilson died Wed. Aug. 13, 1969 at Veterans Memorial Hospital.She had been ill about a month.
She was born May 15,1887 in Jefferson township of Allamakee county,to Simon and Augusta Bruehan Winters,life-long resident Allamakee county. Aug.2,1911 married Albert Gilson in Jefferson township.He preceeded her in death.
Svrvivors are five daughters: Mrs Fred (Francis)Miene,Luana; Mrs Gaylord (Lois) Moose, Monona; Mrs. Loraldo(Geneva) Wahls, Postville
Mrs. Francis (Alice) Rooney, Steuben, W and Mrs. George(Hazel) Beisker, Littleton CO.; a brother Marvin Winters, 25 grandchildren & 27 grandchildren also survive.

Three brothers John, Carl and Alferd, two sisters Alice Clarke and Myrtle Carter are deceased.

Palbearers were Harold and Willard Miene,
Albert Moose, Allen Wahls, Dennis Rooney, Mark Beisker.
