Lois N. Pederson.

Lois N. Pederson, 63, of 1229 E. 35th St. died of kidney and heart ailments Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Unity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Laural Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pederson was born in Indianola and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She retired in 1981 as a technician for Diamond Laboratories, now known as Syntex. She was a member of Unity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband, Warren G.; a son, Larry K. Carey of Killeen, Texas; two daughters, Gwendolyn Sue Burch of St. Paul, Minn., and Cheryl Lynn Davis of Des Moines; two brothers, Delbert Hoover of Fairfield, Calif. and Forrest Hoover of Indianola; three sisters, Lura Edwards and Wilma Bennett, both of Des Moines, and Shirley Chivers of Winslow, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchilldren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church.

Other survivors were; Sisters-in-law, Mary J. Pederson (now deceased), of Waterloo, IA, and Bonnadine "Bonnie" J. Rissman, of Waukon, IA; A brother-in-law, Andrew Delver E. "Del" Johnson (now deceased), of Guttenberg, IA. Warren, "Bonnie", and Mary and "Del's" spouses were natives of Allamakee County. Delver was raised in and was married in Allamakee Co., to Rhoda June Pederson (now deceased). Mary's husband was Ezra John "Jack" Pederson.

Bonnie Rissman, Waukon, Iowa received word that her sister-in-law, Lois N. Pederson of Des Moines, Iowa died Saturday, August 13, 1988. Her memorial service was held at Unity Lutheran Church in Des Moines. Lois was born June 4, 1925.

Survivors include her husband, Warren G. Pederson, a son Larry; two daughters, Sue and Cheryl; several grandchildren; a sister-in-law Mary J. Pederson of Waterloo, Iowa and a brother-in-law, Delver Johnson of Guttenberg, Iowa.
