Died. Of Diphtheria, at the residence of their parents near Postville, Nov. 4th, Addie, and on Nov. [date missing] Sarah, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Cotton, aged respectively, eleven and thirteen years.

The following remarks on the deaths published last week [were] crowded out last week, but will be appropriate now:
Five days Addie endured untold suffering and welcomed the relief that came. Her faith was a childlike faith in Jesus as the shepherd of the lambs of the upper fold. With Sarah the disease had spent its force, and the death of her sister seemed too hard a shock for her reduced system to endure and death came suddenly when she was hoping as she said, to "soon be well to help her mother." Her unselfish nature led her to think more of other's comfort than of her own. A favorite with the whole family, her loss will be deeply felt.
