Anna Cramer Dies; Former County Resident

Anna Cramer, 95, of Webster, SD, died there Monday, July 5.

She was born in Allamakee county in 1886, the daughter of August and Wilhelmina Siekmeier Helming. She attended local schools and was married to Rev. Henry Cramer.

She is survived by three sons, Albert of Bristol, SD, Melvin and Donald of Sacramento, CA. She was predeceased by her husband, and brothers and sisters, Albert, Paul, Ed, Gustav, Fred, Mary, Selma, Helen, Alvina and Lydia.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 9 at 2 p.m. from Zalmona Presbyterian church, rural Waukon. The Rev. Robert Lueck officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Helming, Durwood Schutte, Dave and Ben Kruger, Ron Kiesau and Alan Snitker.

Martin funeral home was in charge of arrangements in Waukon with the assistance of Fiksdal funeral home in Webster.
