Graveside services for Dr. Ruth F. Rominger, age 84, of Rock Island, Illinois and former Allamakee County, Iowa resident are set for Friday, May 29 at the Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa. Trimble Funeral Home of Moline, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.

Ruth Rominger, daughter of Dr. Clark and Florence (Lang) Rominger, on January 26, 1914 in Waukon, Iowa. She graduated from the Waukon High School and then graduated from the University of Iowa and the University of Iowa Medical School. She interned at the former Moline Public Hospital in Moline, Illinois. She was associated with the Myers Clinic in Coal Valley, Illinois from 1942 until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of local, state, and national medical societies. She was also a member of the Moline Pilot Club. She traveled extensively throughout the world. She never married.

Dr. Ruth Rominger died Friday, May 22, 1998 at the Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 2 brothers, Dr. C. Clark Rominger and John Rominger; sister-in-law, Alice Rominger (Dr. C. Clark's wife, and a niece, Mary Rominger, daughter of Dr. C. Clark and Alice Rominger.

Dr. Ruth is survived by a sister-in-law, Marguerite Rominger of Bokeelia, Florida; and 3 nieces, Ruth R. Parker and Judy Lutkus of Baltimore, Maryland, and Susan Ratterree of Lusby, Maryland; She also leaves two special friends, Bernice Eden and Ada Hoffman-Johnson, both of Moline, Illinois
