Funeral services for Emma D. Krueger, age 92, of New Albin, Iowa were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in New Albin, Iowa with Rev. Joan Fumetti officiating. Burial was in New Albin City Cemetery with Haugen-Roble Funeral Home of Caledonia, Minnesota in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Harold Meyer, Norman Meyer, Charles Fetketter, Lester Meyer, Elmer Heitman, and Roger Haar.

Emma, daughter of George C. and Catherine (Timm) Meyer, was born March 5, 1898 in Winnebago Township, Houston County, Minnesota. She attended rural Houston County schools. On March 22, 1922 she married George Krueger in Union City Township, Allamakee County, Iowa. They farmed in Houston County, Minnesota before moving to New Albin, Iowa in 1954. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in New Albin and its Women's Fellowship.

Emma D. Krueger died Monday, April 2, 1990 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George who died March 27, 1972; 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Emma is survived by nieces and nephews.

NOTE: I looked at some other posted obituaries and it would appear that Otto Meyer and Herman Meyer would have been 2 of her brothers and her two sisters were probably, Caroline, Mrs. George W. C. Meyer, and a Mrs. John Aho.
