Memorial services for Wilhelmine Klara Robertson, age 83, of Waukon, Iowa were held Monday, July 2 at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Groe conducting the 11 a.m. services. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Wilhelmine Klara, daughter of Fritz and Henrietta (Geyer) Denninghoff, was born October 2, 1906 in Dortmund, Germany. She came to the United States in 1926 from Germany and lived in Clayton and Allamakee Counties. On December 14, 1934 she married George R. Robertson in Waukon, Iowa. She did volunteer work for over 20 years and made many quilts at the County Care Facility. She was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

Wilhelmine Klara Robertson died Friday, June 29, 1990 at Northgate Care Center in Waukon, Iowa where she had been a resident since June 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, who died February 4, 1957, 2 brothers, and several sisters.

She is survived by her sister, Emilie Buerger of Ossian, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
