Funeral services were held Saturday, October 20 for Kappriane Christine Halvorson, two and one-half month old daughter of Gary and Charlene (Jones) Halvorson of Waukon, Iowa. Kappriane died Thursday, October 18, 1990 at Veterans Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Debra von Fischer conducted the 11 a.m. services at Waterville Lutheran Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Chris Krueger and Pete Grangaard.

Kappriane was born July 30, 1990 at the Veterans Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her parents; a sister Ashley Jones Halvorson, at home; maternal grandparents, Sue (Mike) Long of West Covina, California and Jimmy Jones of Torrence, California; and paternal grandparents, Donald and Launee Halvorson of Waterville, Iowa; maternal great-grandparents, Helen Perkins and Christine Jones, both of Torrence, California, maternal step-grandmother, Betty Long of West Covina, California; and paternal great-grandparents, Victory and Ruby Halvorson of Waterville, Iowa and Elizabeth Wood of Garland, Utah.
