Pearl C. Eberling was born July 30, 1902 near Postville. She died January 10, 1997 at the nursing home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was 94 years old. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Hot Springs, the Ladies Society; Ruth Guild and Lutheran Braille Workers. Survivors include her son Charles Eberling of Hattiesburg, MS, two daughters, Mary Searls of Iowa City and Carol Eberling of Hot Springs, and a sister Helene Ottsen of Cedar Rapids, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. Funeral services were held January 14 at First Lutheran Church, Hot Springs, with Rev. J. M. Beyer officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Gross Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Casket bearers were George Finger, Don Marx, Roscoe Jones, Bobby Wilson, Charles Warbritton and Bob Kunstman. Memorials may be sent to the First Lutheran Church of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
