Nicole M. Rosendahl, 30, of Cresco, Iowa, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at her home in Cresco. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon, with Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon assisted with arrangements. Nicole Mary Rosendahl was born July 24, 1972, in Albuquerque, N.M., the daughter of Greg Rosendahl and Diane (Felten) Rosendahl. She was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Caledonia and confirmed at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon. She attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and graduated from Waukon High School in 1990. She married Chad Kleve at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon in 1992 and moved to Glendale, Ariz. Following her divorce, she moved to Galveston, Texas, where she worked at University Hospitals. She later moved to Calmar, Iowa, where she graduated from NICC with her registered nurse degree in 2001. Nicole lived in New Hampton for a time while she worked at Allen Hospital in Waterloo and for the past year has lived in Cresco and worked at Olmsted County Medical Center in Rochester, Minn. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Rosendahl of Cresco and Taylor Kleve of Charles City; a son, Nathan Kleve of Charles City; her mother, Diane Rosendahl of Caledonia, Minn.; her father, Greg Rosendahl of Waukon; her step-mother, Shirleen Rosendahl of Waukon and her step-father Richard Bullock of Caledonia; two sisters, Aimee and Jeannie Rosendahl, both of Texas City, Texas; two brothers, James Rosendahl of LaMarque, Texas, and Conrad (Leah) Rosendahl of Waukon; a stepsister, Dawn (Steve) Burr of Lone Tree, Iowa; a step-brother, Shawn Moe of Waukon; maternal grandparents, Leo and Gloria Felten of Caledonia; and her special friend, Duane Ollendick of Cresco.
She was preceded in death by a step-brother, Richie Bullock; and paternal grandparents Eddie and Mary Rosendahl. Casketbearers were Jim, Tom, and Jeff Felten, Allen Servias, Aaron Folsom, and Kenneth Beardmore.©Waukon Standard 2003
