Funeral services for Carl C. Barley were held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Falls Church, Virginia on Wednesday September 3, 1985 at 11 a.m. Pastors Cantu, Holgerson, and Burns officiated with burial in King David Cemetery in Falls Church. Pallbearers were Glen, Jeffrey, and Jay Geuder, John and Charles King and Alfred Keatley.

Carl was born March 21, 1914 in Welch, West Virginia. He married Eunice Geuder of Waukon, Iowa. He is survived by his wife; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Dean Satterfield of Salem, Virginia; one granddaughter, Meghan Barley Satterfield; 2 sisters, Lorraine Myers of Falls Church, Virginia and Madeline Barley of Arizona; a brother-in-law, George _______ of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Carl Carley was the son-in-law of Jessie Geuder of Waukon, Iowa.
