Anna Marie (Brennan) Binsfield, age 77 of Onalaska, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, March 3, 2005. Dickenson Funeral Home in LaCrosse, Wisconsin handled the arrangements. Funeral services were held at the St. James Catholic Church. Burial was held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

She was born August 27, 1927 in Lansing, Iowa, the daughter of James F. Brennan and Kathryn E. Mullarkey. She was a 1945 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Lansing, Iowa. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she met her husband, Roger Binsfield. They married at the blessed Sacrament Catholic church in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on June 13, 1949.

After leaving Marquette University, Marie and Roger moved to LaCrosse and raised two children. Marie was involved in the management of J.F. Brennan Com., founded by her father. Marie and Roger traveled extensively, visiting 6 continents. In 1999, she and Roger celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Marie was known for her gracious Irish hospitality and friendliness.

She was preceded in death by her mother who died in 1937 and her father who died in 1971; her step-mother Dorothy A. Malay in 1987 and a brother Ralph J. Brennan of LaCrosse, Wisconsin who died in 1984.

Marie is survived by her husband, Roger F. Binsfield of Onalaska, Wisconsin; a son Anthony (Barb) Binsfield of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and a daughter, Kathryn (David) Karademas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 9 grandchildren: Matthew Binsfield of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Mark Binsfield of New Orleans, Louisiana, Michael Binsfield of West LaFayette, Indiana, Adam Binsfield of Tempe, Arizona, Brittany of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Claudia, Eva, Anastasia and Sophia Karademas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joseph Binsfield of Scottsdale, Arizona, Virginia (Eugene) Kershek of Brookfield, Wisconsin, Richard Binsfield of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Harold Hesse of Appleton, Wisconsin, and Mary (Ralph) Brennan of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She is also survived by various cousins in Lansing, Iowa as well as some beloved friends of many years.
