Frank Arndt, age 79, of Reno, Minnesota, died Monday, October 6, 1986 at St. Francis Medical Center, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Services were held Wednesday October 8 at 2 p.m. in the Haugen-Roble Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, Minnesota. The Rev. Mark Johanningsmeier officiated. Burial was in the Rivergreern Cemetery, Caledonia, Minnesota.

Frank was born June 27, 1907 in Allamakee County, Iowa to Robert and Elizabeth (Heiller) Arndt. He married Bernice Wilcox on May 16, 1936 in Waukon, Iowa. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a section laborer for the Milwaukee Road until his retirement. He was a member of the LaCrescent, Minnesota American Legion Post 595.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters, and a granddaughter.

Survivors are his wife, Bernice; a daughter Crystal Blask of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 2 grandchildren and 4 sisters, Ada Rice and Hattie Foss, both of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Helen Thimmesch of New Albin, Iowa and Esther Thimmesch of Dubuque, Iowa.
