Arthur R. Ingles, age 72, died Friday, May 23, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa. Services were held Monday, May 26 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Henry Heinbuch officiating at Martin Funeral Home. Burial was in the Union Cemetery in Littleport, Iowa. Casket bearers were grandsons Stephen Honn, Bradley Honn, Timothy Ingles, Jerry Ingles, Kevin Ingles, Rick Stahl, Brian Stahl, Randy Stahl, Brandon Martin, Juston Marti, and Jason Ingles.

Arthur was born February 20, 1914 in Littleport, Iowa to George and Mildred (Lamphiere) Ingles. He attended Littleport schools. He married Vivian E. White on February 15, 1934 in Elkader. They moved to Allamakee County in 1935. Vivian died in 1972. He was a retired mechanic.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores, a brother Ernest Ingles and two sisters, Pearl and Luella.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Evelyn Honn of Waterloo, Iowa, Betty Stahl of Postville, Iowa, and Debra Marti of Waukon, Iowa; 2 sons, Robert Ingles of Waterloo, Iowa and Floyd Ingles of Waukon, Iowa; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Henry Ingles and Howard Ingles, both living in California, Raymond Ingles of Portsmouth, Virginia; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Agnes Moorhouse of Benton, Tennessee, Mrs. Adeline Hammel of McGregor, Iowa and Mrs. Donna Rumph of Monona, Iowa.
