Kyle R. Sullivan, age 18, died Monday June 2, 1986 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Services were held Wednesday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Larry Duenas officiating. Casket bearers were Mike Hansmeier, Greg Lewey, Clarke Lewey, Wade Winter, Charlie Rolfs, Rusty Hagensick, Colin Ahlstrom, Ray Mahr, and Lenny Bulman. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon, Iowa with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Kyle was born March 29, 1968 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Richard and Mary Catherine (Stirn) Sullivan. He was a 1986 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sullivan.

Survivors include his parents, 2 sisters, Rochelle Sullivan of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and Bridgette Sullivan at home, and a brother Jason Sullivan, also at home; his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Leo Stirn of Lansing, Iowa and maternal great-grandmother Mrs. Francis Gerkey of Waukon, Iowa.
