Lifetime area resident Stella Augusta Beall, age 88, died Saturday January 3, 1987 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa. Services were set for Wednesday January 7 at 11 a.m. at the Zion United Church of Christ with the Rev. Henry Heinbuch officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers are Wesley, Allen and Ronald Goeke, Robert J. Stock, John Leschensky, and Jack Wadsworth.

Stella was born January 10, 1898 in Allamakee County to Fred and Augusta (Rueggenmeier) Goeke. She attended area rural schools and married Frederick A. Beall on August 11, 1925 in Waukon, Iowa. Fred died January 14, 1969. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and various church groups. She was a supervisor of the flower pavilion at the Allamakee County Fair.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Ida Dundee, 3 brothers John Goeke, George Goeke, and Samuel Goeke; half-brother, Arthur *last name not given* and two half-sisters, Minnie Kloepping and Lydia Ricker.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
