Wayne S. Kolsrud, age 27, died Tuesday January 13, 1987 in rural Waukon, Iowa. Funeral services were held Saturday January 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church with the Rev. Judd Larson officiating. Burial was in Old East Paint Creek Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Donald and Steve Topel, Kevin Hastings, Kenneth Nierling, Arlyn Fossum, and Robert Thompson.

Wayne was born November 23, 1959 in Waukon, Iowa to Howard and Deloris (Malli) Kolsrud. He attended Waukon High School and was employed as a laborer. He was a member of Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother Leland Kolsrud.

He is survived by his parents; 2 brothers, Roger Kolsrud of Luana, Iowa and Lyle Kolsrud of Waukon, Iowa, and a sister, Dorothy of Waukon, Iowa.
