Frank L. Rudish, age 60, died Friday, December 16, 1988 at his home in Marion, Iowa. Funeral services were held Monday, December 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marion, Iowa with Monsignor John McClean officiating. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery with Murdoch Service of Marion, Iowa in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Gary Schuch, Billie Null, Johnny Rudish, Robert Read, Michael Rudish, and Pete Rudish, Jr.

Frank was born July 19, 1928 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and the Iowa National Guard from 1946 to 1950. He married Norma Wagner in 1946. She died in 1969. On September 21, 1974 he married Lorrayne Fiet. He worked for Cargill, Inc. for 33 years and retired in 1987 as an extraction operator. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church.

Surviving are his mother, Rose Rudish of Marion, Iowa; his wife, Lorrayne; 4 sons, Garry Rudish of Davenport, Iowa, Ronald Rudish of Hayward, California, Brian Rudish of Ankeny, Iowa and Jeffrey Rudish of Marion, Iowa; 2 daughters, Sharon Borland of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Cindi Snow of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a step-son, Richard Gerjets of Marion, Iowa; a step-daughter, Lori Glass of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Mary Null of Marion, Iowa; 2 brothers, George Rudish of Alburnett, Iowa and Pete Rudish of Whittier, Iowa.
