LeRoy J. Krapfl, age 61, of Dyersville, Iowa died Sunday, July 5, 1987 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at St.Francis Xavier Basilica with burial in the church cemetery.

LeRoy was born in Harpers Ferry, Iowa on January 6, 1926 to Emil and Olive (Goerdt) Krapfl. On January 13, 1951 he married Kathleen Bartels at Dyersville, Iowa. He was a New York Life Insurance agent for 25 years in the Dyersville, Iowa area.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister. Survivors include his wife; 4 sons, 8 daughters; 8 grandchildren; mother Mrs. Olive Krapfl of Dyersville; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
