Birger "William" Lundering died Sunday, May 29, 1988 at Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. Graveside services were held Thursday, June 2, 1988 at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Dean Shelly. Burial was in St.John's Cemetery in Dorchester, Iowa with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

William was born June 22, 1906 in the country of Norway to John and Carrie Lundering. He was a farm laborer. Surviving is a nephew Gale Lundering of Tucson, Arizona. He was preceded in death by a brother, Erling Lundering.
