Funeral services were held Monday, July 24 for 13 year old Tiana Connelly who died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Lansing, Iowa on Thursday, July 20, 1989. The 11 a.m. services were held at Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home of Lansing was in charge of arrangements.

Tiana was born March 22, 1976 in Richland Center, Wisconsin to John William and Randell "Randy" Lynn (Adams) Connelly. She was a student at Lansing Middle School and was a paper carrier for the LaCrosse, Wisconsin Tribune.

Surviving are her parents, two sisters, Kimberly and Carrie, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Connelly of Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Adams, and maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Elsie Meyer, all of Loganville, Wisconsin; maternal great-grandfather, Paul Meyer of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
