Funeral services for Ruth E. Hills, 64, of Cedar Falls, Iowa were held Saturday, June 3, 1989 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Cedar Falls. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls with Richardson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She died Tuesday, May 30, 1989 at Sartori Memorial Hospital of cancer.

She was born October 8, 1924 in Waukon, Iowa to Henry and Esther (Flage) Krumme. She married J. Richard Hills in Dunkerton, Iowa. She had been employed by the Univesity of Northern Iowa in Cedar Ralls.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Marian Hewett. Surviving her are her husband, four sons, Norval J. of Altoona, Iowa, Daniel of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Alan of Davenport, Iowa, and David of Elkhart, Indiana; two daughters, Linda SWright of Mount Pelier, Indiana and Bonnie J. McCampbell of Thornton, Illinois, and 12 grandchildren.
