Loraine Hanson

Loraine R. Hanson, age 98, of Waukon died Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Waukon Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 1 at Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon, with Pastor Judy Scheer officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon.
Loraine Duvel was born July 14, 1912 to Charles and Emma (Becker) Duvel. She completed school through the eighth grade and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. February 14, 1942, she married Milton T. Hanson in Kahoka, MO. They farmed together near Waukon.
Loraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Merlin.
