Margaret L. Ryan, 94, died Monday, November 20, 1989 at St. Francis Home in LaCrosse. Services
were held at 10:30 a.m. at St.Joseph the Workman Cathedral in LaCrosse, WI on Wednesday. The Rev. Donald Schmitz of Winona, MN officiated and burial was in the church cemetery, New Albin, Iowa. Blascke's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born in Winnebago Township, MN February 27, 1895 to Martin and Ann Collins. She was a member of the VFW in New Albin, Catholic Daughters Court 555 of Caledonia, MN and Cathedral Parish of LaCrosse.

Surviving are seven daughters, Anna Marie Henley of Rogersville, MO, Beatrice Kremer of Latonia, KY, Matilda Becker of Caledonia, MN, Mary Kaye Lethbridge of Northfield, MN, Patricia Imhoff of LaCrescent, MN, Heloise Thery of Coon Rapids, MN, and Gayle Schmitz of Caledonia, MN.; two sons, William of Colorado Springs, CO and Earl of Stockton, CA. Also surviving are a brother Martin Collins of McGregor, Iowa, two sisters, Martina Buckman of Dubuque, Iowa and Elizabeth Wertz of Kankakee, IL; 43 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Ryan, two sons, a daughter, a granddaughter, three grandsons, two brothers and two sisters.
