George C. Kubitz, 91, of 820 Salem St., Dubuque, died March 22 at his home.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 25, at Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home.
Burial was in Dubuque Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Caledonia to Charles and Mary Kubitz. He worked at Caradco until his retirement in 1959. His wife, the former Minnie Brenner died on November 24, 1974. He was also preceded in death by a son Arlan "Arlie" Kubitz, on October 10, 1984.
He is survived by three sons, Henry and Donald, both of Dubuque, and Dave of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley)Regan of Dubuque and Bonnie Bakewell of New Albin; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Otto and Arlin, both of New Albin, and Ed of Waukon; and one sister, Mrs. Florence Irons of Charles City.
Pallbearers were Daniel Kubitz, Duane Kubitz, Greg Kubitz, James Kubitz, Tom Regan and Roger Bakewell.
