Spring Grove, Minn. - Funeral services were held Wednesday at Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church for Jacob S. Quanhahl, 77, who died in a Waukon, Iowa, hospital last Monday after a year's illness. The Rev. William Hexom officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Quandahl was born May 16, 1876, in Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels J. Quandahl. He married Petra Silness May 16, 1904, and the couple lived in Allamakee County.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.F. Asmundson and Norma Quandahl, Waukon, and Mrs. A.M. Vick, Mankato, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Val Sopshire, Worthington, Minn., and Mrs. Charles Johnson, Elk Point, Alta., Canada; two brothers, Arthur, Worthington, and Edward, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
