Robert E. Imhoff, 69, of New Albin, died Saturday, April 22, 1995 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.

He was born June 26, 1925 in New Albin to Ignatius and Julia (Sheehan) Imhoff. He married Luella Casey, who died June 27, 1983.

Robert was a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired in 1981 as a dispatcher for the LaCrosse Post Office.

Surviving are two sons, David of Budd Lake, NJ, and Steven of Des Moines; four daughters, Deb Colsch of Fairbank, Denise Colsch of New Albin, Andrea Imhoff of New Albin, and Julia Welsh of Lansing; three grandchildren; two brothers, Edmund of Corpus Christi, TX and Vincent of Des Moines; two sisters, Phyllis Heiderscheit of New Albin and Ruth Mark of Sparta, WI.

Robert was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Albin, Fr. Henry Charipar officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Jason, Eric, Adam, Phillip, Dennis, and Joe Colsch.
Burke Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing was in charge of arrangements.
