MRS DANIEL GOETTEL

Mrs. Daniel G. Goettel, 63, of Lansing, Ia., died in a local hospital Sunday. She and her husband came to Cedar Rapids last week to visit their son and daugter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Goettel, 1210 Fourth avenue SE.

Born Oct. 4, 1882, at Blue Earth, Minn., the former Esther Regina Hocklander[sic], she was married Dec. 5, 1906, at Blue Earth.

Surviving in addition to her husband and son, are two other sons, John and Arlys[sic] of Harpers Ferry; two daughters, Mrs. George Munz of Lansing and Mrs. Ralph Schild of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Leslie Gruber of Lansing and Mrs. Caroline King of St. Paul, Minn.; and two brothers, Albert of Blue Earth and Ira of St. Paul.

Mrs. Goettel was a member of the Evangelical church at Lansing.

The body was taken from the Turner chapel to Lansing, where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Hill, cemetery there.
