Urban F. Strub, 75, of 941 South Front Street, Lansing, died Sunday, April 30, 1989 at the Thornton Manor Nursing Home.
He was born May, 13, 1913 in Lansing township to John and Mary Weipert Strub.
On April 19, 1938, he married Dorothy Munz in Dubuque, Iowa.
He worked for J.F. Brennen Co., LaCrosse until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a sister, Catherine Kelleher of Janesville, WI; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 3, at I.C. Catholic Church, Lansing, with Father Herbert Tegeler officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Paris Kastys, Rick Kelleher, Kenny Strub, John Dunlevy, Jim Strub and Jerry Plagge.
Arrangements were made by Burke Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing.
