Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Braun were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from the Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church with the Rev. E.O. Baalson officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Braun the widow of Jacob Braun, was the former Helen Evenson, and was born on February 19, 1890, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Evanson and was the last member of her family. She passed away on June 20, 1964. She was a retired miliner and had been a resident of Waukon for the past four years, previously living in Chicago. She leaves a large number of nieces and nephews.
