WAUKON MAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT
A Waukon man, Jerome Alan Sanders, 49, was pronounced dead on arrival at Veteran's Memorial Hospital in Waukon Saturday afternoon, March 14.
He had been brought to the hospital following a one-vehicle accident off Iowa 76 about eight miles north of Waukon around 1:30 p.m.
The accident report in the Allamakee County Sheriff's office shows the vehicle which Sanders was driving going north on the highway when it left the road a struck a farm drive. The driver was the lon (sic) occupant of the vehicle, and he was transported to the hospital by the Waukon ambulance.
