Chas. H. Burnham Passes Away
Chas. H. Burnham, 80, a life-long resident of Allamakee county, passed away Tuesday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Barrett, in Frankville. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon in the Schutte funeral parlors in Postville at 1:30 o'clock. Later services will be conducted in the Forest Mills church. The Rev. Wm. Suckow will officiate. Burial will be in the Smithfield cemetery.

Mr. Burnham was born September 25, 1859, in Allamakee county near Waukon, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burnham. He lived all of his life in this county. In 1935 his wife preceded him in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Chas. Barrett of Frankville, Mrs. Loella Howard of Waukon, Mrs. C.E. Krom of near Postville, and one son, Floyd Burnham of Waukon.
