Final rites for Hans Larson were Monday at one o'clock from Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home and at 1:30 p.m. at Old West Paint Creek Church. The Rev. E.O. Baalson officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hanson (sic) died Friday at the Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wis. He was born on the home farm Aug. 8, 1881, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Larson and always has been a farmer. He was married to Hulda Anderson in 1902 who survives him with five sons, Rudolph, Morris, Lester and Tilford, all of Waukon and Olvin of Winona, Minn., one daughter, Mrs. Cornelius Christianson of Waukon. One brother Magnus of Boscobel, Wis. and three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Bakkum and Mrs. Michael Hanson of Waukon and Mrs. Andrew Lier of Canton, So. Dakota.
