"Mrs. J.P Becker was called to Minneapolis by telegram, Wednesday, owing to the dangerous illness of her daughter, Mrs. Duchene, who died Saturday of typhoid fever. Deceased will be remembered as Mary Becker. She was married almost four years ago and is survived by the husband and one child, besides father, mother, brothers and sisters of the township, and a sister, Mrs. James Riley of Minneapolis. The remains were brought here yesterday and after being blessed at the Catholic church were laid to rest at the Gethsemane cemetery"
