SERVICES HELD THURSDAY FOR MRS. WILLIAM NOLTE
Mrs. William Nolte passed away at Veteran's Memorial Hospital early on Christmas Day, following an illness of two weeks. Services were held at Bethlemhem (sic) Presbyterian Church of which she was a member on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Gabrielson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Martin Bros. Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Nolte was the former Martha Klein, a daughter of Henry and Christine Fiet Klein and was born in Ludlow township on Feb. 3, 1889, and where she has lived until about seven years ago when she and her husband moved to Waukon.
She was married on April 2nd, 1908 to William Nolte.
Surviving with her husband are the following children; Bernice, Mrs. Elmer Klocke; Dorothy, Mrs. Mrs. Alfred Adam; Marian, Mrs. Calvin Nolting, all of Waukon. Lester Nolte, Tacoma, Wash.; Leo Nolte, St. Petersburg, Florida; Duane Nolte and Lorna, Mrs. Emory Quandahl, both of Quincy, Ill. There was also a twin sister, Mrs. Mary Stock, and a brother Albert Klein, both of Waukon; and Mrs. Fred Hermeier, Rockford, Ill.
