Mrs. JOE (Louise Wilhelmina Rupp) O'BRIEN

Mr. and Mrs. Simon Schnuelle and daughter, Anna, were at Waukon last Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Joe O'Brien, 76, a cousin of Mr. Schnuelle and a life long resident of Allamakee county. Mrs. O'Brien was the former Louise Wilhelmina Rupp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rupp, pioneer Allamakee settlers. She was married to Joseph O'Brien of Ludlow township in 1902 and they made their home in Ludlow until they retired and moved to Waukon. In addition to her husband, Mrs. O'Brien is survived by one son, Prof. Joseph F. O'Brien, who is associated with Pennsylvania State College, and two sisters, Mrs. Simon Kiesau and Mrs. Ernest Kiesau, of Waukon.
