Mrs. B. Lemme Died Monday

Mrs. Benjamin Lemme, a life long resident of Allamakee county, died Monday at the local hospital, where she had been a patient for five weeks. Her funeral will be held from Zion Evangelical and Reformed church at 2 o'clock, Thursday, June 6. The Rev. Mr. W. E. Odenbach will officiate and burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Martin's funeral home is in charge.

Esther Klein, daughter of August and Hannah (Ludeking) Klein, was born Feb. 18, 1891 in Ludlow township, and spent her entire life in this county. She was married to Benjamin Lemme on Feb. 14, 1911, and they made their home here. Mr. Lemme preceded her in death. The children are Milton Lemme, Cedar Rapids, and Ruth Lemme of Waukon. There are two grandchildren.

A brother and two sisters also remain. They are Ben Klein, Mrs. William (Anna) Duvel of Waukon and Mrs. Obert (Clara) Harris, Postville.
