Olivia Jeanette Hill Roe, age 87, a native of Decorah, a former resident of Waukon, and a current resident of Fairhope, AL, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Memorial services were held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fairhope, AL Friday, February 5.
Olivia is survived by her sons, James Roe of Punta Gorda, FL, Gerald Roe of Eldora, Richard Roe of Woodruff, SC, and Daniel Roe of El Paso, TX; her daughters, Phyllis Nelson of Payson, AZ, Doris Cook of Robertsdale, AL, and Marilyn Roe of Fairhope, AL; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Melvin Roe, who passed away in 1996.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 200 South Section Street, Fairhope, AL 36532.
