Services for Michael Larkin, 13, were held at Goose Creek Immaculate Conception Church August 4. He died August 1 as a result of a pedestrian accident.

He was the grandson of Clem and Ramona Larkin of the Rossville area. He was born November 12, 1975 in New Orleans. His parents were Michael Larkins, Sr. and Ellen Bassett of Goose Creek. He is also survived by a brother, Timmy, and a sister, Mary Ellen, of Goose Creek; his Grandmother Duffield, of Atlanta, Ga.; Clem and Ramona Larkin of Waukon; 8 uncles and 2 aunts. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances.

Michael was a freshman at Stratford High School in Goose Creek.
