Died at her home in Paint Creek township Aug. 8, 1911, Leta, beloved wife of Benedict Johnson. She was a noble wife and a good neighbor and will be missed in this community where she has resided for so many years. This good couple had no children of their own, but all the young people in the neighborhood were very fond of them for they liked the society of the young folks. Her funeral was held at the W.L. Church the 10th where a large crowd gathered, assembled to pay the last tribute of respect to their dear departed friend, six of her nephews acting as pall bearers. So all friends and neighbors offer sympathy to the bereaved husband in his irreparable loss of a true and noble wife.
