Mrs. Esta Forest Kiesau, 70, of 2406 Sixth Ave. N., died Wednesday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Services will be held at the Norman Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Harry P. Sweitzer of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial wil ltake place in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral chapel Friday evening.
Mrs. Kiesau was born at Oxford, Ind., May 17, 1886, and was married to the late Herman O. Kiesau at Norfolk, Neb., in 1907. Her husband was a druggist at Norfolk. Later, the couple homesteaded in southeastern Montana during 1915. In 1929, they moved to Billings, and then to Great Falls, before coming to Grand Forks in 1941. Her husband died in 1946.
The former Esta Anderson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Dorothy) Loft, and a son, M.W. (Bob) Kiesau of Grand Forks; a sister, Mrs. Della Grainger, and a nephew, Victor Grainger of Baker, Mont.[The Grand Forks Herald, Grand Forks, North Dakota, December 13, 1956]
