Judy Ann Meindl, age 66, of Blaine, MN died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at her home after a short illness. Funeral services were held Friday, October 9 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka, MN.

Judy was born December 23, 1942 in Waukon to James and Rita (Hancock) Burke. She graduated from St. Patrick’s High School Waukon in 1961.

After graduation, Judy went to Minneapolis, MN and worked for General Mills, where she met Howard Meindl. They were married May 8, 1965 at St. Mary’s, Hanover.

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Howard; children Debbie (Paul) Lewis, Jeff (Sue) Meindl and Tom Meindl; grandchildren Sarah, Kaitlyn and Anna; sisters Mary Kay (Richard) Delphey, Betty (Dean) Staggemeyer, and Peggy (Tom) Teff; brothers John (Alice) Burke and Pat (Maggie) Burke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Lyle Burke. She will be missed for her kind heart, sense of humor, concern for others and unwavering faith.
