Funeral services for Edwin Klepper were held Monday, Nov. 28, 1988 at 2 p.m. at the Frankville Community Presbyterian Church, Frankville. Rev. James Elvig officiated. Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Frankville Cemetery.

Edwin Henry Klepper, son of Henry and Lydia (Henning) Klepper, was born May 3, 1909 in Ludlow Township, Allamakee County, IA. He died Saturday morning, Nov. 26, 1988 in Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.

He was baptized and confirmed at the Salem united Church of Christ in Ludlow Township. He became a member of the Frankville Community Presbyterian Church when they moved to their home in Frankville.

On Oct. 30, 1930 he married Ida Goeke. They had four children. They lived on a farm in Ludlow Township and he also worked as a carpenter most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Elmer and Eldo.

Surviving are his wife, Ida, 2 sons Curtiss and his wife, Ardis, Frankville, Harlan, Waterloo; 2 daughters, Jean and her husband, Leo Berg, Frankville and Karen and her husband, Donald Schnuelle, Castalia; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Inez Klepper, Freeport.

Casket bearers: Clinton Berg, Cletus Berg, Kenneth Klepper, Greg Schnuelle, Kevin Klepper, Ronnie Schnuelle, Mark Klepper and Darin Schnuelle.
