Funeral services for Elmer F. Kruger, 47, Postville, were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Reformed United Church of Christ, Ludlow, the Rev. Walter G. Clausing, in charge. Burial was in the Salem cemetery.

Mr. Kruger was killed instantly in a two-car accident four miles west of Grundy Center on highway 14 Saturday afternoon. Mr. Kruger's wife, Loraine, and mother, Mrs. William Kruger, 86, are in Waterloo hospital. Loraine Kruger is in good condition; she suffered two broken wrists. The elder Mrs. Kruger is in serious condition. She was unconscious for a number of hours after the accident. She suffered head injuries and a broken hip.

Two Kruger children, Corrine, 11, and Sandra, 17, were released from the hospital Sunday after treatment of minor injuries. The family was en route to visit relatives near Grundy Center.

Authorities said a car driven by Marlin Eiler, 35, Grundy Center, turned into the path of the Kruger car. Eiler suffered minor injuries.
