Rosena L. Kinsel, 90, Independence, IA resident, died Thursday, Dec. 29 at East Towne Manor, Independence. She was born Aug. 21, 1898 in Postville, the daughter of Louis and Wilhemina Muchow Heckmann. On July 1, 1916 she married George Clarence Kinsel in Waterloo. He preceded her in death in 1976.

Mrs. Kinsel is survived by 2 sons, Orville J. Kinsel, Independence and Carl Kinsel, Albuquerque, NM and 5 daughters, Viola Klemme, Postville, Verla, (Mrs. Edwin) Mittelstadt, Eldorado, Faye Ann Kinsel, Independence, Diana Kinsel, San Francisco, CA, and Laura (Mrs. Arnold) Schappert), Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Kinsel was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, 4 brothers, 1 sister and 1 granddaughter.
