Mrs. Martin Buntrock*, long afflicted with a cancer, and for several months a very great sufferer, died on the 17ult. Her son August, was called home from Wisconsin by telegram, on account of delayed train, reached the house just as the funeral procession started. Services were held in the German M.E. church on the Ridge, conducted by Lutheran minister from Portland Prairie, of which denomination the deceased was a member.
