Last Rites Held Today for Mrs. Mary Manning, 85

The death of Mrs. Mary Manning, 85, Harpers Ferry, took place Sunday evening at Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m. from St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Harpers Ferry, with burial in the Wexford cemetery.

She was born in Allamakee county on February 26, 1887, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hawes. She was married to Neal Manning, now deceased. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Esther Valley, Harpers Ferry and Mrs. Ann Murphy, Lansing.
